I have heard about your achievements and would appreciate your advice. I am paraplegic T4/5 complete and have been trying to gain my ACU licence for solo motorbikes. With less than two weeks before my first race, the ACU have done a U turn and told me I won't be awarded my licence for any race with mass starts (ie track racing), saying that it is my paralysis and inability to get safely away should I have a mechanical failure. Can you tell me how you were able to put your case forward so that I can contest this judgement. My riding has been assessed and deemed fine, I have developed stabilisers as requested my the ACU, so the only issue with the licence now, is being paralysed and unable to park up or get out of the way should I fall.
